Q: off leash?
A: Mammoth Lakes and Mono County have leash laws.
Q: I've been looking for information on where to go where I can go hiking in the snow this winter (snowshoeing) with my dog.
A: Here are several of Martas favorites.
Q: Hi, I can't reach Mammoth Dog Teams for three days. Their site says they only take reservations by phone, 7 days in advance, and I want reservations for next Sunday, but the phone mailbox has been full for three days and I can't even leave a message. Any ideas for me or alternative means of contact? Thanks for any help you can provide!
A: Keep trying, when he is busy, he is really busy and when there is no snow ...
Q: I was told about your website and that I could order dog beds from this site. Can you help? Looking for an orthopedic bed for my 9 yo German Shepherd. Thanks.
A: Sorry, We don't sell anything (except web advertising). We are just a business listing service for dog owners. Call or visit the website of any of the Mammoth Lakes businesses listed here for more information on their products or services.
Q: I love your website! I went to Mammoth last March with my Pyrenees and we had a blast together. We were downhill skiing at the resort so my friends and I took turns taking breaks and playing with the dog. I'd love to come back again this year. I'd like to find more things to do with the dog. Do you know if there are some trails around that I could ski or cross-country ski with the dog?
Q: Hi thank you for your website! We have been coming up to Mammoth for 20 years-dogless. We now have a dog. She is 11 pounds and not used to snow. A dog person recommended buying “booties” for her to keep her warm. Where in Mammoth can I buy these? Thank you so much.
A: Give Lyn a call at Mammoth Tailwaggers.
